Do I need to speak Mandarin to join the Alliance?

No. Our team operates fully in English, and we handle Chinese-language interactions on your behalf where needed. That said, even basic Mandarin will accelerate your integration — and we can point you toward partner programs that help.

Do I need to already have a registered company?

No. Many of our founders come to us at the idea stage. We help you decide whether and how to register, walk you through structure options (WFOE, JV, representative office), and execute on your behalf — 77 companies have registered with our support so far.

Is there a free tier?

Yes — there is a genuine free tier: community events, Startup Saturday, workshops and free hot-desks at the Park. Many services are partially subsidized by government programs, and young founders (generally ≤35, companies ≤3 years) can additionally apply for the Chaoyang Youth Sci-Tech 15 Measures — we coach you through it end to end.

Can I get a visa through the program?

Yes. We assist with work permits, residence permits and talent-visa pathways depending on your background and stage. Foreign PhDs can receive dedicated assistance applying for a 5-year multiple-entry visa (including spouse and children).

What sectors do you support?

Nearly every sector — AI, healthtech, fintech, consumer, sustainability, hardware, creative industries, education and more. Our universal value is ecosystem access; sector depth comes through our partner and mentor network.

Is this only for founders in Beijing?

Chaoyang, Beijing is our home base and where our deepest institutional partnerships are — but our community is global. Founders, students and partners from 100+ countries engage with us virtually and in person, and many land in Beijing after starting the conversation from abroad.
